Report Absence

Absence Verification: Parents should report their student's absence by contacting the school by 9:00 am the day of the absence. The State of MD requires each absence be verified with a reason i.e. illness, appointment, funeral, family etc. Northwest will accept notes, phone calls, fax or email as verification. To report an absence via phone, please call 410-751-3270, fax to 410-751-3275 or email to nwsattendance@carrollk12.org with their name, the student's name and the reason they will be out. Phone calls will be made to parents/guardians whose student absences are unverified at 9:00 am.
